What Really is Rose Wine? – The Pink Wine

Rose Wine with Melissa Mwende

Rosé has been a favourite of mine from the very beginning. It was the very first wine I ever had and I’ve been in love with it since.

So what really is Rosé wine?

Rosé happens when the skins of red grapes touch wine for only a short time. Where some red wines ferment for weeks at a time on red grape skins, rosé wines are stained red for just a few hours to achieve that pink hue.

There are three ways to make Rosé covered in the video:

1.Maceration
2. Bleeding
3.Blending

At the moment, Rosé from Provence in France are a big hit in the market and I’m glad to see it!

Break out your favourite bottle of Rosé and let’s celebrate life!
