A scenic 2 ½ hour drive from the capital Nairobi, and only an hour’s drive from Mount Kenya, or ideal for heading out on safari and exploring Lake Nakuru, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogaria, or onto the popular Mount Kenya-Samburu safari circuit – makes this the perfect base for a holiday adventure.
Accommodation
The Panari Resort Nyahururu offers 10 Courtyard Rooms, 22 Four-Bedroomed Cottages (88 Cottage Rooms), as well as Executive and Presidential Villas to choose from. Each colonial-styled, yet contemporary, spacious & luxuriously appointed option, features; a cozy Fire-place, Flatscreen satellite TV’s, Large king-size beds with plush bedding, Spacious wooden deck flooring, Work desks, Seating areas, Wi-Fi connectivity, Modern in-room & bathroom amenities, Panoramic balconies and Breath taking views of the Thompson Falls Gorge and the winding Ewaso Nyiro River.
The Courtyard Rooms
These family rooms housed in the main building are ideal for family’s with children, offering spacious accommodations in twin and double occupancies, complete with separate children’s playing area – allowing parents peace of mind as they sit on the balcony, taking in the sounds of the Thompson Falls.
The Cottage Rooms
The Cottage Rooms at Panari Nyahururu are accessed via smart golf carts, and are aptly set away from the main building with amazing views over the Ewaso Nyiro River and further onto the Marmanet Forest. Each spacious room, has a stone fire place to offer warmth on the typically cold evenings and balconies with mesmerizing views.
The Executive Villas (Where We Stayed)
The villa’s are surrounded by plush ever-green manicured gardens in an almost exclusive-feel nook offering guests privacy, peace and calm and area in which exudes all charms of the Joseph Thompson era. Each Villa is fully equipped with a hallway, kitchenette, dining area (where you can choose to wine and dine in the comfort of your villa), living room, fire place and balcony. Valet services are inclusive in the rate to further compliment your stay.

The Panari Nyahururu Resort offers guests with 3 different ‘wine & dine’ options to choose from, each of which perfectly captures the essence & beauty of the property, its inspiring landscapes, its natural forest-like surroundings and abundant birdlife. These include the Brown Olive Restaurant an outstanding international gourmet cuisine restaurant, the picturesque Pool Bar & Restaurant serving up an indulgent array of expertly mixed signature cocktails & mocktails and snacks by the poolside, and the premium Silky Oak Bar offering guests an extensive selection of fine wines, cognacs, spirits single malt whiskies & beers (perfect for pre-dinner or after dinner drinks).

As in all Panari hospitality establishments, the Resort features state-of-the-art Meeting/Conference/Event Venue facilities as well as scenic outdoor spatial areas, making this a superb retreat for both corporate and social groups. Purposefully designed to meet the very highest global MICE standards, the Panari Resort can host virtually any type of group activity; from large conferences and seminars, to intimate boardroom-style meetings, experiential team building activities, to lavish indoor banquets or exquisite outdoor social gatherings on the expansive lawns. There are 4 distinct rooms to choose from, with the largest easily accommodating 250 people. These include; The Joseph Thompson Banqueting Hall (upto 250pax), Golden Oak, Purple Orchid and The Walnut Tree each hosting upto 65pax each.
