The Nairobi National Park Game Drive Charges, Opening Hours, Entrance Fees
The Nairobi National Park is the oldest game reserve in Kenya. The wide-open grass plains and the scattered acacia bushes in the park host a wide variety of wild animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, birds, endangered black rhinos, and others.
An early morning game drive is recommended because the animals are still active. The game drive lasts for 5 hours with stops across the whole park. With a game drive, you are guaranteed plenty of close encounters with the wildlife in the park.
The cost can range from about Ksh.7,000 to Ksh.10,000 or higher for personal game drives. However, this cost often comes down to about Ksh.3,000 or lower when travelling in a group.
The Nairobi National Park is open from 6 am in the morning to 6.30 pm daily. However, some tour companies offer night game drives from 7 pm. The vehicles for the night game drives are fitted with powerful lights for proper sightseeing at night.
