Bush Breakfast
Bush breakfast is the perfect surprise after an exciting morning game drive with an astonishing view over the Mara plains. There is an array of fruits, cereals and pastries on display and full English breakfast of your choice is prepared by your private chef over a live station. After a leisurely breakfast, your guide will escort you back to the camp at game drive speed. The experience is sure to be unforgettable.
Picnic Lunch
What a perfect way to savour lunch in the wilderness while out on a game drive in the vast and exclusive Masai Mara. You might not want to drive back to the camp for lunch especially if you’ve encountered a nice sighting. Our experienced tour guides are there at your service to set up a picnic spot in the shade of an acacia tree at no extra cost and enjoy your meal in the wilderness.
Bush Dinner
For those whose dream is to dine in the wild, then this is for you. One can enjoy a romantic bush dinner set beneath the starlit African night. After sunset, drive to a secluded part of the Mara plains to find a bush kitchen, campfire, lanterns and a table been set for the magical experience. Your delectable meal is cooked on site by your private chef and during your drive back to the camp, there might be an opportunity to spot the nocturnal animals which become active after dusk.
Sundowner
Is there a better way to end a day than to enjoy happy-hour while out in the African wilderness?
There is a selection of drinks and yummy treats to be enjoyed as you watch the yellow fiery ball sink beyond the horizon. At dusk, it starts getting quiet as the plains animals retire for the night and the predators start their nocturnal hunts. MARA NORTH CONSERVANCY
Mara North Conservancy is a beautiful wilderness area of more than 30,000 Ha. The Conservancy is a not-for-profit public company established on the 1st of January 2009 as a partnership between 10 member camps and over 800 Masai landowners. The aim is to create a best-practice, world-class conservancy with long-term commitments to the environment, wildlife and local communities.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Climate:
The long rains generally start in mid-April and last till mid-June, whilst the short rains fall during the month of November. Even during these ‘green’ seasons it generally rains at night, with bright skies during the day.
Temperatures:
The hottest months tend to be October, January and February, whilst July and August
can be quite cold, particularly during the evening and night when a warm sweater or jacket is recommended. Temperatures range from 15-35 C.
