The Just Concluded Getaway Tourism Fair 2021 – Sharing Moments with Go Places
The Getaway Tourism Fair 2021 which took place between October 29 to October 31 at the Sarit Expo Centre, saw a good attendance by travel enthusiasts as hoteliers and tours & travel companies showcased the incredible offers they had for visitors looking to book their upcoming holidays.
With the festive season approaching, travel buffs are looking for wondrous and affordable vacation destinations to unwind. This annual expo aimed at providing them with a wide variety of holiday options to choose from as they got to interact and book holiday packages with Kenya’s leading Hotels, Resorts, Lodges, Tented Camps, Airlines and Tours & Travel Operators for the Christmas season and beyond in a serene, soothing and secure environment.
The event which was covered by Go Places Digital on behalf of their partners, also aimed at highlighting new trends in the tours and travels, giving a glance into hotel services, game drives and lodge camping as well as air safari with a central focus on Kenya. Local tourism has hugely evolved as more and more Kenyan’s are now exploring our Magical destination and supporting this very important sector of our economy.
This was the first time that SKÅL Kenya Nairobi participated in this expo. SKÅL is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. Visitors to the stand got to know more about the organization as well as enroll for membership.
The incredible pocket-friendly packages offered by the exhibitors stood out at the expo. Amongst them was Manrik Hotel and Lodges which has exceptional offers for Eka Hotel Nairobi, Eka Hotel Eldoret, Oltukai Lodge & Kibo Villa Amboseli. Sentrim Hotel and Lodges also had incredible offers at their branches in Mara, Tsavo, Amboseli and Elementaita from December 20th to January 2nd 2022. Whilst East African Wildlife Society was promoting the popular upcoming Forest Challenge to take place towards the end of November.
Other amazing offers came from Neptune Beach Resort, Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa, Baobab Beach Resort, Maiyan Resort, Prideinn Paradise Beach Resort, Fly Safarilink, Travellers Beach Hotel, Jambojet, Atua Enkop Africa Luxury Camps among others.
Not only was this expo for visitors but also a great opportunity for players in the tourism and hospitality sector to meet each other and discuss partnerships and collaboration.
