There Is Always Time For A Cocktail
The origin of the term ‘cocktail’ is a bit hazy. The story of a lady innkeeper frequently features in different theories who served spirited drinks to war soldiers, occasionally stirring and garnishing them with feathers of her neighbor’s rooster. Most celebrations commence with a chic ‘Cosmopolitan’ or the deceptively humble ‘Apple Martini’, continue with a refreshing glass of Bellini or Mimosa and end hazy-eyed with the classic LIIT.
But we have come up with more signature cocktails now, and today we feature our own signature cocktail called “Tea Tini”
Ingredients
- Gin
- Tripple sec
- Tea
- Lemon
- Honey
Methodology
- Pour 45ml of gin in a glass, place some ice cubes, and add 90ml of tea followed by lemon.
- Add 15ml of Tripple sec then add 10ml of honey.
- Use a shaker to shake all the ingredients.
- Serve in a martini glass which is already rimmed with sugar and lime
To make it look more sophisticated and urbane, garnish with a slice of lime and mojitos leaves.
Enjoy…
