ABOUT TAMAMBO KAREN BLIXEN COFFEE GARDEN
Tamambo Karen Blixen Coffee Garden Is Located In A Beautiful Peaceful Setting On Karen Road, Near The Karen Blixen Museum, About Half A Mile From The Karen Golf And Country Club. It Is The Site Of The Original Farmhouse Which Was The Blixen Property.
The Restaurant Is Open From 9.00am Through To 6.00pm for Takeaway and Delivery Only
Firstly, The Menu Is A Fusion of Tamarind and Tamambo Dishes.
Futhermore, diners have a choice of different areas for lunch or dinner – the cosy, indoor restaurant with adjacent terrace and garden for a la carte dining or any of the functions areas such as the grand marquee sultan style tent, available for ‘royal style’ weddings, dinners and conferences. However, The Grogan House is a lovely space for private dinners and exclusive functions.
Additionally, the restaurant and function areas are situated in one of the largest and oldest formal gardens in Kenya. Subsequently, huge jacaranda, candelabra and other trees and over 200 species of blooming flower varieties surround the restaurant. Also, the bar opens out to a lounge. It features delicious tamambo cocktails, bar snacks and satellite tv to catch all the sporting events. Subsequently, it has become a popular meeting place for many karen residents
There are 3 versatile venues that include; grand marquise tent, Grogan house and the inside dining room.
Lastly, the conference package includes: notepads, pens, a flip chart and a 500 ml bottle of water. A 10am and a 4pm coffee or tea break is served with cookies. Lunch is a set menu with a starter, main course and desert, tea and coffee.
