The donations included: Over 300 bouquets of flowers through Flowers of Hope to Nurses to mark International Day of the Nurse through KEPSA and its partners; 10 cartons of Nice &Lovely hand sanitizers through Loreal East Africa; Transport for expectant mothers from low income settlement during curfew hours, ‘Wheels for Life’, which has provided well over 200 rides within and without Nairobi;  Architectural Association of Kenya presented the Handbook on Proposed Guidelines on Planning and Design of COVID-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centres, and Long Term Infrastructural Interventions for the Kenya Context; Pride Inn offered waiver of Hotel Bills for persons on extended quarantine; N95 masks; gloves; 190 pieces Face Shields & 270 pieces 3-ply Surgical Masks through SKAL Kenya; and Free on-net connectivity and bandwidth for frontline healthcare facilities through Dimension Data.”

After the International Day of The Nurse Celebrations and Appreciation, SKAL Kenya through its members made their donations to St Paul Children’s Center. SKAL Kenya was represented by its president of SKAL Nairobi Madam Sallie Khavere, IC Julie Scott, members of the SKAL Nairobi Commitee and a special thanks to Members’ Sudhir of Clique Ltd for their donations and Duncan Muriuki who arranged this donation and CSR activity.
