Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE 2022) – Sharing Moments

The Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE 2022) the largest tourism expo in East Africa took place from the 5th – 7th of October  2022. This year’s expo was a huge success that brought together over 200 exhibitors, 160 international travel buyers, hundreds of visitors and media both local and international. At the expo, there were exciting power panels where different topics were discussed. Some of the topics that were discussed were airline, access, innovation and digitization.

MKTE 2022 Welcome Cocktail was held on the 4th of October a day before the expo when serious B2B meetings would take place for the next 3 days

Various tourism stakeholders welcomed guests to the MKTE 2022 both hosted travel buyers, exhibitors and invited guests, indicating that tourism is back and MKTE is back after a two-year absence.

Guests were invited on stage to sing and dance to popular tunes and show off their talent whilst having a good time.

The highlight of the evening was a fashion show presented by various fashion designers showcasing Safari, Beach and Evening Wear
The networking and partying continued into the night
