Last week we had the privileged to attend the 11th Affordable Art Show At The Nairobi National Museum and ESOL graduation At Graffins College

11th Affordable Art Show

The Affordable Art Show was the largest art show in East Africa held between the 13th to 15th of May at the Nairobi National Museum Courtyard. The well-attended show attracted hundreds of art lovers and enthusiasts who had a treat to many different art pieces that were on sale at a bargain. All of the over 450 art were priced below Kshs. 150,000/- and part of the proceeds went to support the National Museums of Kenya. The sponsors included Tarpo Industries, AutoXpress, Safaricom and Go Places amongst others.

The art show included creatives from artists from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda & Sudan. The next show will be held in October this year. Look out for this show and other events under the Upcoming Events segment.

ESOL Graduation

Go Places had the opportunity to attend the ESOL Graduation at Graffins College. The Ethiopians Women Organisation in Kenya sponsored the program.

ESOL Graduate Certificate

This Professional Graduate Certificate in ESOL is designed specifically for those who already hold a bachelor’s degree and teaching certification. The Certificate provides the curriculum needed for those who wish to specialize in teaching English language learners in the K-12 setting and also fulfills the education requirements for the ESOL endorsement.
