Regional Chefs, Hospitality, Food Expo and Conference 2021 – Sharing moments with Go Places
The Regional Chefs Conference & Food Expo East Africa (R.C.C.E.A) 2021, was held between 11th to 13th November 2021 at Sarit Centre Expo Nairobi, Kenya, was well attended by Stakeholders, Hoteliers, Visitors & Chefs from the hospitality industry.
The 3-day event attracted a massive turn up of Chefs, Culinary Artists, Food & Safety Expert, Hospitality Suppliers and the HORECA Industry from all over the East African region. Several certified master chefs and executive chefs were present to give topics on skills and share their personal experiences.

- FOOD SAFETY AND HYGIENE by Declan McMahon Managing Director Hychem Hygiene Healthcare Solutions
This year’s theme was “Embracing the changing landscape of cuisine”. The stakeholders discussed more on the current hospitality scene and the way forward as the industry is recuperating from a recent pandemic that hit the entire hospitality & tourism industry.
In the next five years, the hospitality industry in East Africa is expected to attain an upward trajectory thanks to the Hospitality Audit firm reports, which show that growth in tourism numbers coupled with governments’ efforts to promote MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) infrastructure to attract more business tourists is driving the upward growth of the industry.
The latest products, services, and technologies for the industry were showcased by over 40 companies that exhibited at the event. Comprehensive and leading-edge networking opportunities also provided the stakeholders with the best tools to grow and improve their business.
Leading international and local Hotel brands like Radisson, The Accor, Marriotts, Hilton, Radisson, Golden Tulip, Sankara, Serena, Sarova, Sentrim, Jacaranda just to mention a few were among the international brands that thronged the event. The Exhibition and Conference allowed companies to network, learn new Culinary Skills, understand new kitchen Equipment and interact with Hospitality Food Suppliers among others.
The event concluded with the chefs being awarded for competing in various events and being recognized for their achievements by Enock Alumasi Makanga, The Event Director of Regional Chefs, Hospitality, Food Expo and Conference,
