Homemade Sweet and Savoury Treats by Shahzia and Rahim of CRUMBS! Bakery
As two foodies, this new bakery venture was an obvious choice. Before either of us travel anywhere outside of Nairobi, the first thing we do is troll the internet looking for dining hotspots and unique menu items that are the “must have foods to try”. We then come back home and try to replicate the item, or adjust it to our tastes. If we do it successfully, it becomes a regular feature for our dinners.
Crumbs is our passion, it is where Rahim and I have our creative outlet. Where we work tirelessly to produce delicious goodies from the finest ingredients and organic vegetables. Everything we make is hand-rolled, hand-crafted and made with painstaking care and attention in our Riverside Bakery.
We have put our heart and soul into Crumbs, and we hope you love everything on our menu. All of our croissants take 3 days to make. While our savory pies take 24 hours to get that flaky puff pastry that gives our pies their deliciousness.
