LC Waikiki Celebrating Its 5th Anniversary In Kenya With A New Season Launch
LC Waikiki, a leading fashion retail brand globally, is honoring its 5th Anniversary in Kenya with a new season launch at their flagship Store in Two Rivers Mall. This event is a commemoration of LC Waikiki’s success in the Sub Sharan African Market in line with its mission ‘Everyone Deserves to Dress Well’.
For the first time in Nairobi, LC Waikiki is celebrating the launch of its brand new season with 9 stores currently open in Kenya. Globally, the retail giant continues its operations almost 1200 stores in 54 countries, 347 different cities on 4 continents and more than 56,000 employees. The launch of the Kenya Season is testament of the success the brand is enjoying in the African Market.
“We want to reach 14 stores by the end of the year”
LC Waikiki Country Manager Sevda Bilen said in the event; “Kenya is an important investment area of the African region. Today, we have 9 stores in 4 different cities of Kenya; Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nakuru. We have a big family in Kenya with our 300 employees. We are the market leader of the 22 countries that we are in. We are so proud of being the market leader in Kenya too and we want to thank all our customers for choosing us. Our target for 2022 is to have store in 5 different cities. We also want to open our second store in Mombasa and we want to reach 14 stores by the end of the year. Also, we are operating in Uganda and Zambia too. In August, we are planning to open our first store in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Our goal in 2023 is to reach approximately 43 million USD endorsement with our 22 stores in 4 countries. Also, we want to contribute to the employment by reaching more than 600 employees.”
The Turkish brand’s target is to have more than 1500 stores all over the world next few years. The Istanbul-based company reported that they 530 million items sold in 2021. The 5th Anniversary celebration with a New Season Launch in Kenya had various guests and was attended by dignitaries, the business community, media members, influencers and longtime clients of LC Waikiki in Kenya.
