Julia Pataki’s Magical Kenya Safari Experience in Nairobi National Park

Sharing Magical Moments with Julia Patak’s Safari Experience in Nairobi National Park in Kenya

One special day safari!

In the midst of the global pandemic and lockdown Nairobians are fortunate to have a refuge; the Nairobi National Park. Its unique in so many ways but let me tell you my fabulous day in NNP.
The Park greeted us with a spectacular sunrise, lazy Rhinos blocking the road and befriending curious Guinea Fowls
A pod of Hippos in the lake trying to play while being surrounded by a variety of birds and crocodiles silently snoring in the midst
A tower of Giraffes enjoying lunch undisturbed by our presence with a “Macho Mister” guarding the pregnant ones
The Buffalo General wasn’t really happy to see us while enjoying the incredibly green grass. As we were viewing one of Kenya’s Safari Big Five on this hot day it decided to cool off with a mud bath
And the Lions! King Sirikoi emerging elegantly as true royalty from the high grass screening the sky as a prayer, joined by the superb young Kemboi, just captured my heart. Or the Kingfisher Pride devouring the remains of a giraffe under the supervision of Sam.
Not to mention the gracious Impalas, the incredible variety of birdlife and the view of the City and Ngong Hills, are amazing.
That was one very special birthday! As a friend said “This is how we do it in Africa”! Enjoy what you have close by, the richness of fauna and flora in the Nairobi National Park is priceless! Worth every minute! And have fun! Keep safe! Take Only Photos. Leave only footprints.
