We have curated this program to enable you to rapidly develop your palate and knowledge, whether you aim to become a professional in the industry or learn the fundamentals for your own personal satisfaction.
The learning experience will cover the history of wine, winemaking, wine producing regions of the world, grape and wine varieties, regional designations of wine, wine quality, wine tasting, wine and food pairing, and wine service. Classes include wine tasting labs that focus on developing sensory evaluation skills, and varietal identification.
The program is taught by Kelvin Wanjira, a Sommelier & Wine Master certified by the Wines and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) in London. He is one of countable Sommeliers in Kenya and the East African Region with experience in training for both hotel brands and reputable wineries in Kenya and across the world.
