Established in 1991 to provide style, quality and comfort to the Kenyan consumer, it has grown from the first branch at The Mall Westlands to a retail chain of Twenty-five branches in Kenya. City Walk started by selling shoes targeting Asian customers. Due to customer demand, the company introduced a men’s collection within a year followed by a kids’ range.

CITY WALK was the 1st company to introduce Sketchers and Caterpillar brands in Kenya. In 2012, the company introduced luxury original perfume in Mombasa, as a stand-alone branch.

80% of our product range for Men’s and ladies is embossed by the brand name CITY WALK. Other brands in stock include Marco Ricci, Caterpillar, Merrel, Hush Puppy and Crocs.

In 2019, the company introduced a sports product branded Skywalk, a company brand that targets medium-range sportswear. Other in-house brands include Catwalk, Soule to Sole, Made in Kenya school shoes as well as a variety of bags.

Our client base has diversified over the years to include people from all walks of life. We are committed to continuously innovating and adapting to the market changes as well as client needs. We have done so over the years and in November 2021, we celebrated 30 years of existence in Kenya. This is a clear indication that continuous growth is not only attainable but limitless.
