Go Places Exclusive with Hardik Shiva Vyas’ The Wild Life Enthusiast

Greetings Universe,

I am 35 years old, a 3rd generation Kenyan by birth and Indian by religion. With the current “setback” in the world due to Covid -19 pandemic, I would like to urge all of you to make the most of it.

Listen…

Can you hear the cries of the elephants whose mother was shot for a tusk? Can you hear the screams of the dogs that were cooked alive just because of your need of having something different on your plate? Can you hear the trees burning in the forest and all the living entities that depend on it? Worse, Can you hear the sounds of all the dead Dolphins-Sharks-Whales silently fished for food purposes or dead of the poisonous waste disposed of in the oceans for decades? The World did not stop to think about them – as long as they were okay, life was good.

Someone once told me that your stomach should not be a graveyard for the dead and now I can see why.  Let this be a warning to all the ignorant theorists, it’s the Final one from the universe. Mother Earths Love is the purest and most forgiving but the wrath of the universe and the Gods is upon all and it will not spare anyone. When the hurricane comes it takes everything.

I would suggest for all of you to take this time to look deep within yourselves and peel off layer after layer of all that no longer serves you until you are naked like the time of Adam and eve with nothing but peace so you can write a new book of what you may have been born to deliver in this world. Fill your purpose to protect and preserve the universe and nature as one so we can appreciate it till eternity.

Every day our lives have become like a blank paper with a paint brush, it’s up to us to choose how we plan to color it. It could be black, plain white or multi colored, your choice.  In this period I have chosen to paint mine “Green” to be one with nature.

In other countries there’s a total lock down but we are lucky enough to have only a night curfew and a few other restrictions. So, during this time you can choose to do many activities such as go for a run in the Karura forest, or even take your children for a Game Drive through the Nairobi National park which is open for public visits.  Our Nairobi National Park is the only park within the city where we are extremely lucky of having this privilege to ourselves and we should make best of it. You can spend time enjoying the beautiful park and being one with nature and animals during this period but most importantly with yourself.

Every weekend we try going to the park and get to see the extinct dinosaurs’ cousins the rhinos and the crocodiles, not far away the Magnificent African male lion with his pride of females lying in their kingdom with their generals and queens and as you stroll further in there’s the leopards laying on the trees, the buffaloes and giraffes all over the park not to mention a few.

All of these are just 30 minutes from wherever you are within the city to the Park. Mother’s Day is coming; you can treat your mom to an amazing time at the Nairobi National Park. Spend the day together embracing Mother Nature’s beauty as you watch her smile from the radiance of the simplicity in celebrating her.

Please take this opportunity to enjoy the park responsibly with utmost respect and appreciation for nature and forget about what you were labeled at birth, what you have pretended to be all your life. Let go, remove all the masks and see what you actually are born to be.
