Culinary School Of Arts In Kenya

The Boma International Hospitality College (BIHC) hosted its 4th Career Forum on the 8th of November 2019. The event was graced by panelists from Tribe Hotel, Sankara, Villa Rosa Kempinski, Java House, Kahawha na Kadhalika Consultancy and KICC. The College was honored to host these great hotel brands, students and their parents. The conversations revolved around the opportunities within the hospitality industry with the experts in the field giving wholesome information about their experiences and tips on growth and development in the industry.

The panelists introduced their internship opportunities that BIHC students were welcome to apply for and gave assurance of the holistic experiences that they offer.

 

They explained the need for patience and belief in their journeys and encouraged students to be ready to take on the challenges that they may have to face along the way without giving up on their aspirations.

Another point to be noted was for students to be keen on personal development training, to help elevate their wellness in both an individual’s personal and professional life, in terms of being aware of what they can offer and how much value they can add to everything you do.

Thereafter, BIHC made a presentation on the International Internship opportunities available to their students to start their careers. Here, students were informed on their progression possibilities to the Caribbean, United Arab Emirates and the United States of America where they would complete paid internship programs at 5 Star hotels and Michelin Star restaurants.

The event closed with a word of prayer and gifting of the panelists who gave very resourceful information to those in attendance.

Here at BIHC, we pride ourselves in exposing our students to as many opportunities. We believe in the creation of progression pathways that allow students to expand their knowledge and build their networks.
