When the late Kundar Singh Panesar first began the legendary brand in 1948, his fervour and almost innate skill to create miraculous pieces of wooden furniture quickly saw the business grow, from a small scale customization outfit to servicing client’s individual needs and requirements throughout the African continent. But Kundar’s dream was far from over.
He envisioned a future where he could impart his skills to those willing to learn, as he did with the personally trained artisans who he worked with, and thus creating employment opportunities for future generations to come.
Today Panesar employs over 130+ homegrown artisans each of whom have continuously developed their skills under the company, and many many more artisans whether internal or external, continue to do so under the now fully-fledged Panesar Training Institute.
