Mcensal School of fashion has quickly become the top fashion college in Kenya. Offering certification from Edexcel Btec. The college is primed to produce the next generation of gifted fashion designers set to revolutionize and influence the fashion industry in Africa as well as competitors who will stand out in the international fashion platform. EAST AFRICA FASHION AWARDS

In the 2020 East Africa Fashion Awards held virtually to celebrate the achievement of various fashion stakeholders that made remarkable contributions towards the development of the East Africa fashion market, Mcensal school won East Africa’s Fashion and Design Training Institute of the year Award in 2020

GUCCI DESIGN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

In 2019, Mcensal school of fashion got selected to participate in the Gucci design fellowship program. The program is part of Gucci diversity and inclusion initiative to promote cultural exchange between designers from different backgrounds.

The partnership involved 10 fashion schools in 10 countries namely Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, China, Japan, Korea, Dubai, U.S.A and Mexico.

Mcensal fashion college is Edexel (BTEC) accredited enabling participation on the international level events and being the best fashion school in East Africa was selected to represent Kenya.

A total of 50 finalists were selected to participate in the fellowship. They were invited to Italy for a week to discover Gucci in Rome and Florence and a direct opportunity to meet Gucci’s design team. 11 graduates were selected to join the brands team for a one-year internship in Rome among them Jasleen Matharu from Mcensal School of Fashion and Design
