Just Mercy, a movie produced by Warner Bros Pictures, officially premiered at Anga IMAX theatres, Diamond Plaza on Friday, February 28, 2020.

The premiere, which was an invite-only event, brought together lawyers from various firms, legal practitioners in NGOs, law students and IMAX business partners.

The guest of honor was MMS ADVOCATES and social media influencer Corazon Kwamboka was the emcee for the evening.

Anga IMAX’s decision to invite guests from the legal field was informed by the fact that ‘Just Mercy’ is a criminal justice movie.

Just Mercy follows a Harvard graduate Bryan Stevenson. His goal is to defend those wrongly convicted and those who cannot afford legal representation. Among his first cases is that of Walter McMillan, who is wrongly sentenced for murdering an 18-year-old girl, despite evidence proving his innocence. As he defends McMillan, Stevenson experiences racism, legal and political manipulations.
