GO PLACES PARTNERS WITH THE NAIVASHA LOVE FESTIVAL

THE NAIVASHA LOVE FESTIVAL

Nairobi, January, 20th, 2020: Go Places Digital is proud to partner with the Naivasha Love Festival.

The partnership was signed by Mr.Peter Kimani Gitau, Chairman Naivasha Love Festival & Managing Director of Sawela Lodge and Mansoor Jiwani, CEO Go Places Digital. Present at the signing was Charity Githingi the Technical Advisor Naivasha Love Festival. & Director of Tandaza Africa.

Go Places Digital is the official media sponsor of the Naivasha Love Festival, which will be taking place between the 14th and the 15th of February, 2020. Having been in the industry for 27 years, Go Places Digital is no stranger to partnering with events such as this and is only happy to be a part of the event’s launch next month.

This year’s event is themed around sustainability and will host a number of activities that will help create awareness about different ways in which we can be more sustainable as a country. Some of these activities include Lake Clean up, climbing Mount Longonot, hiking into Eburu Forest, cycling to and from the forest and planting trees.

“The event is a love festival. We’re looking at love in all aspects…love for our environment, love for our people, love for our culture, love for our food, love for art, and love for music,” says Charity Githinji.

There will be a Global Village set up at the nearby Buffalo Mall which will, in turn, be divided into smaller villages. The sub-villages will cater to different sectors, e.g. the eco sector, trade, hospitality, culinary and culture, among others. And of course, there can’t be a festival without fun. The Koroga Festival will be taking place close by, and local artists and comedians will be entertaining the crowds gathered there.

Charges for the festival will be Ksh. 500 for adults and Ksh.200 for children.

The Naivasha Love Festival is designed to promote inbound tourism from both the region and beyond. Nairobi and Mombasa have long been known as places to see when in Kenya. However, Naivasha has so much to offer both local and international tourists.  “The bigger issue [however],” says Charity Githinji “ is having Naivasha as the destination.”

Sharing is Caring :)
