The Kenya Association of Travel Agents (KATA) has released registration details for this year’s Annual Convention.

This year’s event is being held under the theme Travel in transition: Re-imagining Kenya’s Future Travel Industry.

“We are providing a platform where the travel trade in Kenya will convene for two days of education, knowledge sharing, inspiration networking and a little bit of fun,” says Nicanor Sabula, CEO of KATA.  Discussions at the convention will focus on how industry players are dealing with the new changes happening in the industry which include but are not limited to technological, economic and structural disruptions. “These rapid changes are greatly impacting the industry and may significantly alter the way travel agents do business,” he adds.

A raft of speakers both local and international have been lined up to speak at the Convention. They include senior airline executives, travel technology experts, travel agents’ association officials, IATA representatives and a motivational speaker.

The registration package for the 2019 KATA Convention includes 2 days’ conference fees with teas and lunches, 2 nights’ accommodation at Enashipai Resort and SPA, Gala Dinner and shared transport to and from Naivasha.
